Anna Davies (BA Hons & PCSE)
Anna has been an enthusiastic singer most of her life. She has received personal training in voice up to Grade 8 and has studied under many wonderful vocal coaches. She has sung in many choirs and is a current member of ‘Vocalise’ and ‘Cantiamo Singers’.
After completing a degree in ‘The histories of art, design and film’, she qualified as a Primary school teacher with a specialism in music. She has 15 years’ experience in classroom teaching alongside leading music in a variety of schools.
She has always held music in high regard within the classroom, especially singing. She has enjoyed leading children’s choirs and musical groups.
Anna now provides specific musical tuition within schools. She teaches whole class ukulele, clarinet, recorder and singing. It also involves individual and small group tuition.
Her personal passions with vocal teaching lie in an inclusive, relaxed, comfortable and informal approach. She wants to ensure her students have a strong grounding in basic singing technique before progressing through repertoire. She feels a particular calling to helping adult singers who want to start their singing journey.
