Callum Masters BA(hons)
Born and bred in Cornwall, Callum’s musical journey began as a young lad with his dad teaching him the basics which then led to embarking on formal instruction at age eight.
During his time at Bodmin College, he served as the drummer for the college jazz orchestra, partaking in international tours to destinations such as New York and Paris.
Moreover, Callum pursued studies in music at both Bodmin College and Truro College before obtaining his BA (hons) degree in Professional Musicianship from BIMM Bristol in 2019.
Lessons are adaptable to any musical genre, though Callum specializes in rock and pop. With a wealth of experience spanning various musical contexts, including jazz orchestras, studio recording sessions, live shows, educational settings. Including 2 years performing on cruise ships, Callum brings a diverse skill set to the instruction table.
Simultaneously, Callum maintains an active performance schedule as the drummer for Bailey Tomkinson and the locals, performing at various gigs and festivals across the UK.
Whether seeking to enhance current skills or start from scratch, Callum’s inclusive approach ensures that anyone can excel on the drums. His commitment lies in having fun whilst learning and prioritising the student’s goals and aspirations.
